Nope, no way. We need Starlink, no matter where we are and a lot of this country especially in the West there isn't any sort of cell service - zero. With Starlink we always have access to wifi calling, and internet - it's a serious issue for emergencies. I wouldn't full time RV without it if you frequent the Western half of the country. Especially if you have vehicle trouble on highway 50 in Nevada - just whip out the small dish, set on the ground or back of truck, plug it in & you are good to go using your cell phone or internet needs.

Im sure you had Red Drum. The fish you showed on the video is a black drum. Ive fished Ocracoke for 25 years. Great place. BTW you ever had red fish in the south (Fl, LA, TX etc) thatt is th same fish. Red Drum=Red Fish. Howards Pub always a good place to go

I think if you would have gone with a mid profile 5th wheel vs the full profile would have been a better transition between the TT and Full Profile 5er.

Since you have a 2022 F350 SD DRW, you should have a sticker beside your GVWR sticker that shows your PAYLOAD. My F350 GVWR is 14,000 and my payload is 5246 from my stickers. If I purchase a 17,500 GVWR 5er (20% of that for hitch weight is 3,500) then I have 1,746 (5246-3,500) of payload I can consider. (people, hitch, cargo, etc.) Right?

As someone who lives in NC, I absolutely love the OBX. Ocracoke is definitely worth the trip, even if for just the day. I'm not sure whether you did one of the wild pony tours in Corolla. If not, I highly recommend it for your next trip to the OBX.
